Low Carb Amandine Asparagus


1 pound fresh asparagus 1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup butter 1 Tbsp lemon juice.


  1. Steam asparagus and set aside.
  2. In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, cook slivered almonds until golden brown.
  3. Add butter and asparagus and stir mixture gently for two or three minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
  5. 3 carbs per recipe.
